AdBlue 20L

AdBlue, or diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) is a colourless fluid that mixes with the exhaust gases in diesel cars to turn nitrous oxide into harmless oxygen and nitrogen, reducing emissions in line with Euro 4/5/6 regulations.

• Be aware that if your car runs dry of AdBlue, it won’t start unless refilled with about 3-5 litres
• If you accidently fill your petrol tank with AdBlue, call roadside assistance immediately to drain – starting your engine after can permanently damage it
• AdBlue is non-toxic and non-hazardous, but is still classed as corrosive, and can cause damage to skin, eyes and lungs
• If AdBlue comes into contact with paintwork, rinse with water
